This product used to have a wonderful smooth, fatty, soft yet slightly snappy texture to them which was quite unique and out of this world.
Somewhere along the way the recipe seems to have changed: They have become wrinkly, harder, saltier. Not necessarily bad, but nowhere near as good.
They are now more in line with other beef sticks on the market, rather than standing out. It's become difficult to justify the premium cost involved... I can find similar (or better) products now for less.
